Family safe provides a simple way to read your kids texts, view their web browsing history, view picture messages, review their call logs and see what Apps they are downloading with the Family Safe Mobile App. The family Safe mobile app enables parents to closely monitor the usage on their child's Smartphone. We love technology but we are aware of the dangers that exist when children have access to a web enabled device 24/7.
This easy to use App can be installed on any android device and can only be accessed through a password that you set up. Install it on your teenagers phone and you can know what they are doing on the internet or what they are texting their friends. The instant they receive a text, this App will secure the data and report it daily to an email address of your choice.
How to Use Family Safe:
Family Safe is simple to use, but you must run through the tutorial in 5 easy steps to get it setup and reporting. Please also note that we scan the device for all content on first run, and this may take up to 6 minutes depending on the speed of your phone and the amount of content.
Family Safe can be setup to send an email as often as daily or less frequently. Please note that these can be long email and will use some of your data plan.
There is nothing to keep Family Safe from being uninstalled, so if you are not receiving your email reports, then you may want to check the phone to make sure the app is still installed.
Your device must be on and connected to the internet either through wifi or through your cell phone service to send the email reports.
If you don’t want reports on certain numbers or websites, then you can add these to the “Safe Listâ€. You must login to the app and then click the + sign next to the phone number, web site, or text number. If you accidentally add someone to the safe list, then you can remove them by going to Settings>Safe List and removing them.
Included Features:
Currently Family Safe will store and report on:
Text or SMS Messages. This includes the time of the message sent, and the actual message, and of course who it was sent to/from.
Picture or MMS Messages. This includes the time of the message sent, and the actual message, and of course who it was sent to/from.(Currently we are not saving the images/pictures, but we will in a future release.)
Phone Calls. This includes who it was to/from as well as the time the phone call took place.
Internet History. This will show all sites visited, and all searches performed.
App Downloads. All apps that are downloaded whether they are still on the device or not.
Reports are stored on the phone on which Family Safe is installed.
Email Reports can be sent on-demand and can also be setup to report as often as you like.
Family Safe is password protected.
The history can be cleared to keep the app from getting too cluttered.
Permissions: We are using a lot of permissions because this app is meant to monitor the phone. We also need to access the email client in order to send an email report. This report is encrypted and is uploaded to our server in order to be sent to your email. We do not store any of your data on our server. We don’t want it.
